Looking for a call waiting feature on your Jio sim? All you need to do is to scroll down and read the post below.
What is Call Waiting?
Call waiting is a feature through which one can get to know if he/she is getting call while you are already on an another call. With the help of this feature, one can either put the first person call on hold or continue talking to the first one and disconnect the other call.
The feature of call waiting is not just useful but is very common among all the phones these days. Since most of the people use smart phones, the feature will be available to all of them. However, when it comes to Jio users, it is not as easy as it seems to be. For the Jio users, the feature will come through their Jio SIM and not their devices.
Yes, it is strange but true at the same time. If the Jio user has activated this feature via their SIM, it will work irrespective of the fact whether the device has the feature or not.
Since it is a common feature, you are going to get it on all android devices and you will have the choice either to enable the one or disable it.
If your network provider also has the feature, you will be able to manage your calls easily as you will be able to know who is calling you and who is not even if you are on a call and other than that, you can also make a conference call by taking multiple calls while you are on a call already.
How to activate call waiting on Jio Sim?
If you want to activate the call waiting feature on your Jio SIM, then you must know that this feature will come pre activated on all the JIO SIM cards. However, if you have deactivated the same mistakenly, then you will have an another chance to activate the same by dialing the number given below.
By dialing this number via your JIO SIM card, you will be able to reactivate the call waiting feature on your jio sim card. It will take a minute or so and you will receive an SMS by the company stating that your call activation request is activated now.
Just in case if you are still unable to use the call waiting feature even after following what we have instructed above, then there must be an issue with your device. You might have disabled the call forwarding feature on your device. And for that, you need to go to the settings and activate the same.
